Southern Oregon

It’s difficult for me to describe myself without telling you what I do.  I teach English, yearbook, and journalism at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, traveling, reading, sewing, baking, photography, and spending time outdoors.  For me, technology brings a new light into my classroom. Google has been such a life changer for me in the ways I teach; I rely on Google to create content, organize lessons, collaborate (with colleagues and students), and communicate.  Schoology is the LMS platform that I adopted to help deliver curriculum to my students.  Another game changer in educational technology for me is Cel.ly.  Being a member of ORVSD has allowed me to share my passion for technology with others, collaborate with others to learn new teaching strategies, and prepare students for their future.
